That or getting value from bone miser/waste not. Mostly things like Regna/Krav, tribal decks, some goodstuff decks, Elsha spells, nothing insanely powerful but also not terrible.īudget: Probably not going to invest a huge amount of money into the deck but no real budget.ĭeck Objectives: Get to a state where most players are in topdeck mode and i'm getting graveyard value or beating face with zombies. Some people play budget, but it's not mana crypts, fast mana, etc. Perhaps I'm also looking at this from the wrong perspective.Meta Power Level: Medium depending on the group I'm playing with. I know I can't have the best of both worlds, but there's surely something I'm missing. The issue is that the most efficient card draw effects are usually on non-creature cards, and the card draw offered for a dredge strategy is usually quite inefficient. Sure, I have plenty of ways to mill myself hard, but efficient card draw can both net me more cards in hand when facing GY hate while translating to more dredging when I'm on that gameplan. What I need most help with is finding ways to amp up the card draw while still keeping the creature count high. But over the years of playing it, I've noticed that drawing cards is tricky. The deck strategy is outlined in the Archidekt description: mill yourself, make tokens, hoof 'em out. Now that I'm picking up commander again on a semi-regular basis, I've noticed how much life has been injected into the format with new printings and reprints, and it's a lot to digest at once! I've had this deck for a few years now, but it hasn't been changed much since 2019 when COVID hit and I stopped laying. If I'm to add new non-creature cards, I'd prefer them either to be impactful enough to warrant their inclusion, or to be castable/recurrable from the graveyard by themselves. TL DR – I'd like to add more card draw effects, preferably on a creature.
